Argolyn Bioscience

Argolyn Bioscience was founded in May 2002.  The company has two drug candidates advancing toward human clinical trials (for pain and schizophrenia) plus a technology platform for deriving countless new drug candidates. They currently employ 2.5 people and have 2 open positions posted and a number of consultants who work with us on a part-time basis. Furthermore, their current payroll is equal to about 10 jobs at the average wage for South Carolina, as all of our people have advanced degrees and they want to remain competitive. 

Argolyn Bioscience has been financed through investor capital and federal small business grants. As of this writing, Argolyn has raised a large sum of money over the last 4.5 years, the vast majority of these dollars came from sophisticated investors and rigorous peer-reviewed grant sources outside of South Carolina.
