Karen Hallenbeck, J.D.

Ms. Karen Hallenbeck is Legal Counsel for the MUSC Foundation for Research Development. She has a B.S. in chemical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a J.D. from the Charleston School of Law. As legal counsel for the foundation, Ms. Hallenbeck is involved in drafting license agreements, overseeing patent prosecution, and managing any other legal issues which arise in the course of FRD activities.
