Dr. Perry Molinoff is a Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Molinoff has also served as the Vice Provost for Research at the University of Pennsylvania and between 1981 and 1995 he was the A. N. Richards professor and chairman of the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, he spent ten years in the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Colorado. Dr. Molinoff also served as Executive Vice President of Research and Development at Palatin Technologies, a biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering and developing receptor-specific small molecule and peptide therapeutics.
Dr. Molinoff was the Vice President of Neuroscience and Genitourinary Drug Discovery for the Bristol-Meyers Squibb Pharmaceutical Research Institute. Dr. Molinoff serves on Boards of Directors of foundations as well as public and private companies and he serves on editorial advisory boards for scientific and educational journals. Dr. Molinoff is the author or editor of six books and over 230 manuscripts. He earned both his undergraduate degree and medical degree from Harvard University.
